Late at night. Listening to the Yankee game over the Internet. Looks like
the Yankees and the Mets will be in the first "subway series" since 1956 or
something like that. (I may eat these words if the Yankees blow their four
run lead in the next two innings.)
Creative history reference of the week (care of L.Fitch): Wednesday is
"National Boost Your Brain Day". Nothing like a few good, stiff drinks to
boost one's brain.

at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, 10/18/00
(We've got reservations this week, under the name of "Laurie". Just look
