Wednesday Pub Night Portland #31 - 7:00 at Margarita's on St. John Street

Back to the Pub Night home page

It's a calm night out, with very few waves in the harbor other than the
wakes from the car ferry I see from my (new) office window.
Unfortunately, the office didn't come with any lights so I'm typing by
the light of an oil lantern. Nature's way of telling me I'm working too
late I guess.

Anyway - lots to celebrate this week including the sale of a business,
the scraping and sanding of a boat, the move into a new office, a
successful trip to California, the pouring of a foundation, the
preparation for a LONG bike ride, another week with the flashy new car,
and the discovery of a place we haven't yet been to for PubNight.

This week takes us to Margarita's on St. John Street. Chosen primarily
because it has lots of easily available parking. Of course PubNight
doesn't condone drinking and driving, but for all you designated drivers
out there - it will be an easy night to park.

Details:
Wednesday, June 14
Margarita's

7:30 PM

Thanks to all of you who helped with the boat last weekend! If you
didn't get enough, or weren't lucky enough to join us, we're having a
pre-PubNight happy hour under the boat on Tuesday evening. It will be a
nice intimate caulking party with either free wine or free beer (state
your preference with your RSVP). The boat is at South Port Marina -
follow Waterman Drive past Beale Street BBQ (last week's PubNight pick)
to the end - you'll see the marina. Bear left to the boats on land and
look for my green Ford Explorer. I'll be there from 5:00 until about
8:00 - it's pretty light work - nothing too strenuous or dirty.

The Scotia Prince is on her way out past Spring Point - must be time to
go home now.

See you Wednesday,

- Dan
