Wednesday Pub Night Portland #28 - 7:00 at Old Chicago Pizza

Back to the Pub Night home page

Fellow PubNighters,

Where else but in Portland can you see Jesus crucified? Three times in
one weekend. With Christmas lights on his head! (Don't ask.)

For the Portland Players of the group - congratulations on a successful
opening weekend. For the rest of us - congratulations on making it to
another Wednesday night.

This is a particularly momentous PubNight - the last PubNight before
Memorial Day. I think we should celebrate appropriately, as it's bound
to be one of the last times we'll be able to find parking in the Old
Port until September.

So, with a nod to our brethren in New York
(http://www.pubnight.com/nyc/) who are celebrating their 199th PubNight,
and our brethren in St. Louis (http://pubnight.dhs.org/pubnight/) who
have beaten our attendance record with 30 people showing up at their
last PubNight, we'll try and set a new record this Wednesday in the Old
Port at one of the few places that can hold 30 drinkers.

Place: Old Chicago Pizza
Where: Fore Street between Exchange & Market (The old Seamen's Club)
When: Wednesday, May 24, 2000 at 7:00 PM

There's lots of room - bring your friends.

See you there.

- Dan
