Sea Dog Tavern

Wednesday Pub Night Portland #24 - 7:30 at Sea Dog Tavern

This week we say farewell to three PubNight friends - Katherine, Dave &
Dawn. They're all leaving Portland (though Dave & Dawn promised to come
down and visit occasionally from their new home in Rockland).

Special guest PubNightPicker Katherine chose an old favorite as the
location for her send off from Portland. For her last PubNight as a
local, Katherine picked the Sea Dog Tavern on the water in South
Portland.

Not too long ago there were some concerns about me spending more time at
the Sea Dog than I was at my home. I didn't think much of it, until one
day I was sitting there at the bar minding my own business and when
closing time came - instead of kicking me out, they put me to work and I
started cleaning the bar.

Though I don't think I achieved "Norm" status at the bar (or even
"Cliff" status), it's still a favorite of mine. Perhaps one of our two
PubNight listed Sea Dog bartenders will be there to help us celebrate
(on one side of the bar or the other).

So - here are the precious details:
Where: Sea Dog Tavern, the end of Sawyer Street in South Portland
When: 7:30 PM - Wednesday, April 26

(To get there, take the bridge to SoPo, go straight on Broadway, make a
left at the Getty station onto Sawyer Street, follow it to the end and
make a left. Sea Dog will be on your right.)
