Wednesday Pub Night Portland #128 - 7:05ish Flatbread

Back to the Pub Night home page

Spring has sprung (aside from that little snowstorm we had Monday). Birds are chirping, the sun is glaring right into my eyes, and once again I can ride on the outside deck on the ferry.

Since Gritty's still seems to be closed for renovations, it's still not an option for us this week. There were rumors (which I later confirmed) that Kraig's shop, Le Roux, is having a wine tasting tonight from 5:00 to 7:00. According the the nice lady on the phone: "They're red. They're French. They're free." I can only assume she was talking about the wines.

So wet your palette with some wine if you choose, then head across the street and join us for pizza & beer & brownie sundaes at Flatbread. If we all plan to meet at 7:05 that should give us enough time to stumble across Commercial Street and over a few piers. So here's the plan:

Flatbread Pizza
72 Commercial Street (behind RiRa)
at 7:05 PM
tonight, Wednesday April 24, 2002

We can drink a toast to our New York colleagues who are spending tonight at the former Socialist party headquarters. Comments?
