Wednesday Pub Night Portland #121 - 6:00'ish at Sea Dog in Topsham
Back to the Pub Night home page
Dear Friends with birthdays at other times of the
year,
At long last my birthday is approaching again. And
the highlight is the honor of selecting a PubNight
location all on my own.
Tonight I have the help of Casper and Ginnie who are
lying next to me giving me lots of moral support.
Casper, a yellow lab, has his nose buried up against
my leg and is snoring happily away, while Ginnie, a
Llewellin Setter, is alternately burying her nose up
against the wall or watching curiously as I type.
Though they'll both be unable to make it to PubNight,
their mom & dad, Jon & Marnie (of New Year's 2000
fame) will be joining us.
Since my favorite restaurant, the Sea Dog Tavern, has
log since left South Portland (moment of silence,
please). I had to go with my second choice -- the Sea
Dog Tavern in Topsham.
For those of you that haven't been there, it's at 1
Main Street in Topsham, just over the green bridge
spanning the river. Rather than try and give you
directions and risk misleading you -- Call the
restaurant at 725-0162 if you need help getting there.
I'm planning to be there at 6:00 -- might be a little
early for some, but figured it would be good to get
there early since it will be a longer than average
drive home for all (except Nona). Plus we'll need to
get the ferry back to take care of my moral support
team, one of whom is now licking the side of my
laptop.
So for the textually-challenged, bullet-point types:
* Sea Dog Tavern
* 1 Main Street, Topsham
* 725-0162
* 6:00 PM, Wednesday, March 13
Looking forward to hoisting a birthday toast with all
of you.
- Dan
