Today is a very special date in history. A date that hasn't seen an
equal since 8/28/888. Though it has seen an opposite on 11/19/1999.
So if you can figure out the reasoning, join us for a drink tonight.

According the the original PubNight charter, written late in the 20th
century and as yet undiscovered by numerous archeological expeditions to
various pubs in the northeast, anyone who has a birthday preceding
PubNight is entitled to choose the location for that week's event. So
in deference to Laurie's birthday (January 31) - and to make her feel
better about having all four of her wisdom teeth yanked (February 1) -
she got to choose this week's PubNight location.
