PubNight #4 (10/27/05) - 8:00pm at Cat's Eye Pub

With Halloween coming up this weekend, we've pretty much accepted that any bar we head to is likely to be crowded. Why not roll with that and visit Baltimore's overly crowded bar capital, Fells Point?

For this holiday, we did want a place that has a scary sounding name though. And we wanted to resume visiting bars named after animals commonly kept as pets. I voted for the Wharf Rat, to reminisce my days of living in Manhattan, but I'm told that around here you don't consider them pets. So the Cat's Eye Pub it is.

Couple of things to note here. There are bands scheduled to play from 4-8:30pm and from 9:30pm-1:30am. If you show up during either of those periods, you're more likely to be charged a cover to get in. Because the band will be up front, we usually squeeze into the back of the bar instead; you may have to explore a bit to find us.

Wishing we had a pet horse to come in on,
